That survey identified 23 areas that need to be corrected (i. E. Joint off-sets, broken pipes, etc). Of the 23 items identified, 13 of them are located in the 2 shoreline zone - however would fall under a maintenance exemption - hence the request for a shoreline exemption. The work would include excavation to the stormwater pipe (~ 4-6 feet deep x 2 feet wide), repairing the line as needed. Back-filling with clean soil, and re-asphalting the excavation. Excavated soil will be collected, sampled, and characterized for off-site disposal in accordance with the ecology approved sampling and analysis plan.
