I was called out last night by the fire department at this address which is at the corner of brevard road and haywood road. A tractor trailer truck hit the corner of this building. The corner was cantilevered out with masonry blocks and brick veneer. I was told that this was hit about three months ago and has been hit about 4 times. I advised them to have an engineer look at it and recommend any repair that is needed. The tenants would like to be in the building if possible by 11: a. M. . I told them that it may depend on an engineer looking at the damage and getting a permit to repair. From what i could determine it mainly damaged the brick veneer but it was difficult to see last night. They have removed the loose brick and the fire department closed the sidewalk off.
