Call shannon for more info redacted phone number. Our complaint - attached structor (deck) is ready to fall down & to close to property line. He is afraid for their safety. Shannon m. Had done some research and house was built in th 50s. Seemed like permits were taken out when warrented, but nothing on the deck. Not sure when it was built or what codes were then. Pjk; june 18, 2013 5:12:59 pm pamk. Pam, this is a complaint, permit # 13-3497. The deck is intact, appears structurally sound, has been there long before the current edition of the building code. It does appear that two of the intermediate pickets on the front handrail have been recently replaced, but a permit would not have been required. There is no other work being done on the deck, and it is not in danger of collapse. There is no basis for the complaint.
