Emergency repairs for brick column on building for asheville endocronolgy due to car hitting building;ref 15-06902s for enforcment record;

Afd dispatch follow up at 8:03 am i received a call from afd dispatch with request for assistance at 7 alliance court, located off of brevard road within the ridgefield business center, with a report that a car had ran into a building and damaged the building supports. I arrived on site at 8:22 am and met with investigator d. Fender. He explained the situation and events that had taken place until my arrival. A car, driven by an elderly man, had jumped the curb and damaged the main entrance brick support column (left side). The occupant tenant of the building had already called their regular contractor and he was on site ready to make temporary repairs to the building. A wooden temporary support column was constructed and installed in order to allow the tenant to use the building. The main entrance has been blocked off (yellow tape) and will not be used as a way of entry into the building. The door will only be used as an emergency exit until the repairs are complete.
