Work under this application will consist of demolition of 5 buildings, decommissioning and removal of underground utilities, excavation of archaeological investigation trenches, excavation and removal of contaminated soils, placement of fill soil and gravel, surface grading, and installation of temporary erosion and sedimentation control (tesc) measures. After all site preparation and demolition work is complete, the site will be restored as a vacant, gravel-paved lot in for approximately 6 to 12 months until the treatment station construction occurs. Permanent drainage and other necessary permit requirements for treatment station construction will be addressed separately from this site preparation and demolition project.
