All six of the borings will be completed as temporary piezometers using 1-inch diameter pvc pipe. Borings/temporary piezometers will be open no longer than 24 hours and will be abandoned on the same day as drilling by tremi-grouting, using a 2 pounds bentonite to 1 gallon of water slurry, per doee regulations. Idw will be properly managed.

Installation of 1 temporary construction trailer on private property.

We will perform a total of two soil borings on the proposed site. The borings will be advanced to a depth of feet below existing site grades, and will be located within the bounds of the private property. The borings will be drilled utilizing 3. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers. The borings will be performed utilizing an atv-mounted drill rig and will generate an approximate 6-inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the borings will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powder to one gallon water. Borehole abandonment will be performed by tremie-grouting via a positive-displacement pump from the bottom of the borehole.
