Sitework for pump station 001 will include locating three new fans above grade (one dry well, two wet well) and extending one existing dry well vent higher above grade. Two existing wet well vents will be removed. Conduit connecting the dry well to the new wet well fans will be installed. Trenching, excavation, backfill, and asphalt pavement restoration will be required for conduit in trenches and the new fan pads. Removable bollards will be installed to protect the new fan pads from errant vehicles. There are no structural improvements for station 001. However, structural modifications will be required, such as rotating the existing overflow wet well hatch 180° and the core drilled openings for the ductwork leading to the new fans above grade.
