Owner contractor landlord hired us to do misc updates as needed to rent or sell. Upon initial evaluation it appeared simple fixture upgrades then we discovered knob and tube wiring upon further review. Owner is requesting we do not replace the original wiring but we are doing our best to make recommendations for safe wiring installation. We only have approval for cosmetic upgrades like fixtures and devices with some other small things at this time.
