Remove the 3rd floor window on the st. Louis facade, and replace it with a pair of french doors with an operable 4-light transom above, and a pair of louvered shutters, all to match those existing on the 2nd floor just below. Muntins on the transom will match those on the new and existing doors. Construct a 12x42" cantilevered balcony with iron railing at the site of the new french doors, with all construction, materials, and paint to match those on existing balcony at the 2nd floor below. New doors, transom, and shutters will be constructed of spanish cedar; new balcony deck will be 5/4" tongue and groove top quality treated pine. All construction and materials will be per application and drawings received on 3/26/13 and stamped vcc approved on 4/10/13.
