A total of six 6 soil test boring will be drilled at the above referenced site at the front of the existing building. The borings will be drilled using 3. 25-inch continuous flight augers. The borings will extend to a maximum depth of feet below current site grades. The borings will be drilled using a truck- or atv-mounted drill rig. We anticipate that the maximum annular diameter of the hole from the field exploration including the auger flights will be about 6-inches. The soil sampling interval will be every 2. 5 feet within the upper feet of the boring, followed by every 5 feet to the maximum depth explored. The samples will be containerized in glass jars for geotechnical classification and laboratory testing. To prevent contamination of the boring between soil strata, the drilling rods will be decontaminated using a steam cleaner or an alconox solution prior to commencing drilling of each boring.
