Please note that this project is near completion. We received a notice of violation (# m202469, date of service: 6/29/16) for excavation without permit. No abatement is required. We received the notice of violation by certified mail on 7/9/16 and will request a hearing (admit with explanation) with the office of administrative hearings. In good faith effort we are submitting this application for a public space permit associated with an existing residential driveway replacement. The existing driveway beyond the public sidewalk and existing apron has been replaced with permeable pavers and new concrete, as the 55 year-old driveway had sunk four inches below the existing driveway apron and was in failure throughout (see attached photo). In addition, a four-inch drain running under approximately feet of the new driveway was installed to mitigate pooling near the public sidewalk in heavy rainfall.
