A total of three 6-inch diameter soil test borings will be drilled using 2. 25-inch continuous hollow stem flight augers. The borings will extend to a maximum depth of feet below current site grades using a truck-mounted drill rig. The samples will be containerized in glass jars for geotechnical classification and laboratory testing. After boring completion the boreholes will be grouted with bentonite slurry, 2 lbs of bentonite to 1 gallon of water, and the auger cuttings and all other investigation derived waste idw will be containerized in sealed drums per ddoe permit. If a confining unit is encountered, we shall use outer casings which shall extend ten feet into the top of the confining unit in unconsolidated sediments or to the top of bedrock, if bedrock is encountered first. This will prevent contamination migration to the groundwater table.
