Exterior preservation including restoration of wood siding and windows, and refurbishment of top-floor deck addition. Strip, sand, and paint exterior siding, trim, and window frames. Remove all old paint from siding, and scrape and power-sand all wood trim, siding, doors, windows, decks, railings, and shutters. Replace any rotten wood siding with old, reclaimed wood. I anticipate that less than 5 percent of siding will be replaced. Replace rotted deck railing. Height of the top of horizontal rail is 41. 75 inches, and height of posts is 44. 5 inches. Refurbish all old windows including stripping, repainting frames, reglazing, restringing. Replace metal storm windows with historically correct custom wood storms with side hinges and horizontal rail to align with double-hung windows.
