We will perform two soil borings on the proposed site. The borings will be advanced to a depth of feet. Additionally, 4 soil borings and 4 infiltration auger probes will be performed on the proposed site and will be advanced to depths of 15 feet and feet respectively. The borings/auger probes will be located within the bounds of the property. The borings/auger probes (b1, 2, 3 4, 13, 14, a1, 2, 3, 4) will be drilled utilizing 3. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers. The borings/auger probes will be perfromed utilizing an atv and/or truck-mounted drill rig and will generate an approximate 6-inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the borings/auger probes will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powder to one gallon water. Borehole/auger probe abandonment will be performed by tremie-grouting bia a positive-displacement pump from the bottom of the borehole/auger probe.
