1. All layers of the existing roof will be removed down to the wood deck and hauled away. 2. New 7 16 osb sheeting will be nailed over the existing deck with 8d nails. 3. A cricket will be built and installed behind the larger of the two chimneys to allow proper water shedding. 4. Ice and water shield will be installed 6 feet up the eaves and 3 feet in the valleys. 5. A synthetic felt will be installed over the remaining portions of the roof. 6. New colored drip metal will be installed on the roof edges. The new metal will be stripped in with a nine inch strip of ice and water shield on the roof eaves. 7. New owens-corning: duration architectural asphalt shingles will be nailed to the wood deck in accordance to the manufacturers specifications. The new shingles will be fastened with six nails (not staples) per shingle. 8. A continuous ridge vent will be installed to allow proper ventilation. 9.
