Interior alteration, removal of a gas insert fireplace to reclaim living space. Fireplace has no chimney or exhaust pipe, just vents into room. Containing structure abuts an exposed brick wall, framed out in drywall. Drywall and framing will be removed back to exposed brick to match rest of living room. Two electrical outlets and a light switch exist on structure, and will be moved to brick wall using conduit where appropriate. Gas line will be capped on exterior of house, masonry patched. Ceiling and floor will be patched to match existing materials.
