Proposed field activities include hollow-stem auger soil sampling and groundwater monitoring well installation and sampling. All locations proposed for soil borings will be cleared to 8 ft bgs using soft-dig methods such as a hand augering to avoid contacting utilities or other underground structures. Five soil borings will be advanced to ft bgs or refusal, whichever is shallower. At least three of the proposed soil borings will be converted to permanent groundwater monitoring wells.

A total of 5 borings will be completed utilizing a geoprobe direct push drill rig using a dual tube sampling device. The borings will create a 2. 25-inch annulus. All 5 geoprobe borings will be completed to a depth of feet below ground surface. Additionally, three borings will be completed utilizing a hollow-stem auger drill rig using a split spoon sampling device. The borings will create a 6-inch annulus. All 3 hollow-stem borings will be completed to a depth of 25 feet below ground surface. Following completion, borings will be tremme grouted from the bottom to top using a mixture of powdered bentonite and potable water per doee recommendation.

Installing 3 soil vapor sampling points on private property, via air knife and/or hand auger, as part of a vapor intrusion investigation. Points will be sampled periodically.

We will perform a total of three geotechnical borings on the proposed site which will be extended to depths of 25 feet and feet below existing site grades. The borings will be located within the bounds of the private property. The borings will be drilled utilizing 3. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers. The borings will be performed utilizing a truck-mounted drill rig and will generate an approximate 6-inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is complete, the borings will be backfilled in accordance with ddoe requirements with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powder to one gallon water.
