To renovate building including the replacement of the existing storefront system with new millwork, installation of new mechanical equipment in the decatur side alley, and the installation of a new natural slate roof as per below description of work. All work as per architectural committee approval of 06 28 16, final plans submitted 09 30 16, and stamped vcc approved 10 03 16. New slate roof as follows:repair and or replace underlayment as necessaryinstall new natural slate (grey green), using copper nailsinstall repair half round copper gutters and flashinginstall reinstall ceramic or concrete v-style or terra cotta ridge tiles. Replace broken tiles as needed, to match existing. Metal cap-flashing on the parapets is not allowednote: trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roofs all work must conform to standard vcc policies & guidelines permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapet or surrounding wallstorch-applied roofing is not permitted in the vieux carr.
