Issued by ssb.; setbacks along street right of ways must be measured from the street right of way line or the street, whichever is closest to the property. All other setbacks are to be measured from the property boundary lines. Setbacks also apply such items as porches, decks, patios, etc.; footing inspection required: footing inspection is to be made by the building inspector after the trenches are excavated, all grade stakes are installed, all required reinforcing steel and supports are in place and appropriately tied, all necessary forms are in place and braced, and before any concrete is placed. Reinforcing steel inspection: any reinforcing steel installed in foundation or retaining wall construction shall be inspected and approved by the building inspector before the concrete is placed. All reinforcing shall be set and tied in place for the inspection.
