Excavation

Replace one section, approximately 12 of rotted wood gutter on main house. Replace 3-tab asphalt roof shingles, with same, on north facing roof of carriage house. Replace (6) wood casement windows in carriage house with new marvin custom wood push-out casement windows to match existing as approved by cambridge historic commssion. Replace snow-melt cables in gutters. Replace one missing sidewall cedar shingle on east gable of carriage house.

In carriage house replace set tub with mop sink and wall mounted utility faucet. Modify sink enclosure.

Repalcement of the existing six over six sash with new six over six sash to match. Painting of sash to match existing color. Installation of metal guardrail at a second storey door opening to match existing.

Comprehensive renovation of garden level of home and new second floor bathroom and dormer addition at master bedroom including the addition of new masonry fireplace. Includes demolition of existing conditions, excavation and removal of fill material below concrete slab in basement to increase head height. Foundation modifications to include an addition off 1 st floor living room for new interior stairwell. Underpinning of foundation perimeter, exterior masonry at new staircases and window wells. Modifications to house framing will require the installation of structural steel. Finish carpentry includes new standing and running trim. Water management includes a perimeter drain in the basement with a moisture membrane along the foundation walls. Millwork inclides cabinetry, new windows and doors. Additional work to include tilework, plaster, paint, av package, electrical plumbing hvac modifications.
