Interior renovations include the following spaces: 1st floor: add new stairs to basement, remove chimney, renovate kitchen, and add laundry room and mudroom. Change entrance from side of house to rear 2nd floor: new master suite including renovation of bathroom, adding fireplace, windows, skylights and closet. 3rd floor: aesthetic updates, new closet space. General: new heating throughout. Exterior: new roofing on specific areas, new trim around windows. Relocate one window in kitchen. See plans, however we plan on shifting it 18" to be over a sink. Based on section aj501 alterations (aj501. 2) "the work shall not increase the extent of noncompliance with the requirements of section aj601, or create nonconformity with those requirements which did not previously exist.
