Remove existing exterior trim boards, siding, sheathing, and insulation due to evidence of rotting. Replace with new materials: insulation, foam sheathing board, weather barrier wrap, flashing tape, hardie siding and trim. When installation is complete, we will caulk and paint. We are planning to remove the existing trim boards and masonite-type siding from the west side of our garage due to evidence of rotting, and replace these materials with james hardie siding and trim. If the existing sheathing foam board and insulation have deteriorated, we will replace them with new fiberglass 3. 5" r-13 insulation, 3 4" pink insulation sheathing board, hardiewrap weather barrier, and flashing tape.
