Adding fire sprinklers to the sound locks on all levels at abravanel hall. Plans were submitted back in april but i have not heard anything. I contacted ted itchon and others but have not been able to determine the status or what needs to be done to complete the process. I decided to re-submit on line hoping that would get things moving. The project adds fire sprinklers to the sound locks on all levels as well as advanced smoke detection and alarms on the stage area. We are also replacing the ceiling tiles in all tiers as part of the project. This is a time critical project as we have a small window to do the work before utah symphony needs the hall for performances.
