Work to be performed at 1215 3rd st ne, former address 3 m street ne, which is the northwest corner of the intersection of m street ne and 4th street ne, and is a location of a former bp america amoco gas station. Work to include excavation of petroleum-contaminated soil per dcdoe ust case no 97-030. Excavation is proposed to be 16 ft-wide x ft-long x 15 ft-deep and generate about 375 tons of petroleum-contaminated soil for offsite hauling and disposal at an approved disposal facility. Excavation will be backfilled with compacted clean fill to grade. Sidewall stabilization will be controlled by digging boxes.
