Construct new gallery on decatur st side to replace existing balcony; construct balcony on french market pl side as per plans.

Proposal to remove balcony and construct gallery on decatur elevation and to remove canopy and construct balcony on french market place elevation, per application & materials received 12/23/15.

This will be a hanging sign, projecting perpendicular from the first floor facade. The sign measures 4 wise and 29" tall and is double-sided. It will be constructed from wood and cast iron. There will be two installed. One will be installed at the facade at 1128 decatur st where there will be an 8 clearance, and one at the facade at 37 french market pl where there will be a 103" clearance approximately as per vcc permit 15-36955-vcsg.

To install one (2) double-faced wood sign to read souvenirs, clothing, cigarettes, cigars, soft drinks, snacks, beads, masks, kids, voodoo. 37 riverside gift shop per drawings submitted on 12/10/15 & stamped approved 00/00/15sign will measure: 34" w x 22" hsign will hang perpendicular to the street, centered above the door. One sign will hang over the decatur street entrance and one sign will hang over teh french market place entrance. Sign will hang from chains. Sign will have a red and black background with white and blue lettering. No additional illumination or lighting is approvednote: all existing signs must be removed. The bottom of the sign shall be at least above the surface of the sidewalk beneath it. Signs shall not extend beyond 40" from the building face.
