The garage will be placed in the southwest corner of the lot behind the house placed 1 foot from properties to the west and south. Four inch eaves on sides next to property line and 12 inches on other two sides. Garage door will be 9 feet wide and 8 feet tall. Walls on either side of the door will be 3 feet and 2 feet. Side wall (east side) will have a man door (36 inches x 6 feet 8 inches) three feet from the northeast corner of the building. There will be also be a window (3. 5 feet wide x 2 feet 8 inches) in the east wall. Walls will be 8 feet tall and roof with architectural shingles will have 7 x 12 slope using engineered trusses. There will be gable vents on north and south sides. Property-side walls will be fire-rated 1 hour. Horizontal siding will be tongue and groove. Two-by-four wall construction will be insulated. New electrical for a new detached garage. The garage will have 6 outlets with two on south wall, two on east wall, one in the ceiling for garage door opener, and one exterior south of the man-door. There are four lights. The two inside lights will be controlled by separate switches with one in the center of the ceiling and the other being centered over a window and a future work bench. There will be two exterior lights (south of man-door and east of garage door), which will be controlled by a three-way switch with one switch in the garage and one inside the back door of the home. The new switch location inside the house will also have a switch to the back porch light, which is currently outside. Wiring to the garage will be underground.
