Cua requests approval for the following scope of work: 1. Add an insulated, u. L rated heat trace system to 4 sprinkler lines that are close to the outside roll-up doors in an abundance of caution to prevent a potential freeze during the winter months. 2. Tie-in the heat trace system to the fire alarm panel as required by the manufacturer to ensure continuous monitoring. 3. Replace the existing 8 pressure switches for the dry systems with 8 paddle style flow switches for a wet system to ensure continuous fire alarm monitoring of zones. 4. Remove 2 sprinkler heads in the open exterior stairwell connected to the parking garage. The stairwell is cement block on all sides and is positioned as an exterior element to the garage. This action will avoid freezing during winter months.
