Existing unfinished basement used for storage, laundry, and hot water heater. Hot water heater, washer, and dryer to be consolidated in one corner to be used as a laundry/utility closet, which will remain with brick wall and open joists. New full bathroom with shower stall installed in another corner. The rest of the basement room will be finished with furring strips and drywall, to be used as a storage/rec-room. The hallway to the second door, at the front of the house, will remain with brick wall and open joists. A zero-clearance ceiling tile system will be installed in the main basement room, to allow access to existing junction boxes. Drywall will be used for the bathroom ceiling, where no junction boxes are located.
